I
have been busy processing chickens this week and, of course my garden
is finally catching up just in time to be even more neglected than
usual. Still Nature's Bounty provides us with enough to eat and maybe I
can even get some stuff up to the farmstand.
This first batch are our "Gourmet Country Chicken".
They are the ones with longer, more slender breasts and more developed
quarters. Our next batch, in just a couple of weeks will be the "Old Fashioned Country Chicken" Are the ones that are more similar to grocery store chickens in conformation, but with NO similarity in flavor or health!
