All the News That's Fit to Print

With more chicks arriving, probably as soon as you read this, the truck patch still in progress, the fence moving and coop building going on ad infinitum, I guess there has been little of note to relate to you this week.

I had thought of sharing some of the thoughts I have while working, but with the frenetic pace I have been keeping, I haven't even really thought any deeper than the next task at hand. Sometimes not even that much.

Then I thought I would share some recipe or another. After all, It isn't like you can just go onto the internet and get all the recipes you want or anything. Of course, I have noticed that most of those are now AI generated, and not really very reliable. I worry about that. I use the 'net as a quick reference for details I probably didn't file right. But what if someone truly is learning something for the first time? A person wouldn't have the experience to recognize any errors or misinformation.

But I reckon I have already treated you to enough of my rants, on this subject at least.

So... I guess I usually give a weather observation, but you have certainly been aware and probably have soaked a few sets of clothes yourself. So no news there either.

You probably have also had enough bird reports, and as yet there aren't any frogs to report. I do believe I saw a few lightning bugs just before the cold snap, but none since.

I woke up to a red squirrel in my kitchen on Monday. I guess he found a window that had been open slightly while we were away for a bit Sunday evening. Probably had soaked his duds too. Since the rain had let up by then, he was out before the coffee was ready.

Man, I sure used a lot of words to tell you I didn't have much to say.

Thanks for Listening,
